William E. Halal is Professor Emeritus of Management, Technology, and Innovation at George Washington University, Washington, D.C. An authority on emerging technology, strategic planning, knowledge, innovation, and institutional change, he has worked with General Motors, AT&T, SAIC, MCI, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, International Data Corporation, the DoD, the Asian Development Bank, foreign companies, and various government agencies. Dr. Halal substituted for Peter Drucker in giving a talk to 2000 managers at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

Katindi Sivi-Njonjo is an author, researcher and futures consultant. She is the founder and lead consultant at LongView Consult, a socio-economic research, policy analysis, foresight strategy and training firm that works to enable others to understand possible futures that may occur in order to strategically help prepare for an uncertain and rapidly changing world.
Katindi has pioneered various foresight processes and authored publications on women’s future in Africa, the future of civil society in Kenya, and the future of Kenya’s extractive sector, among others. Erik Overland is the President of the World Futures Study Federation and is an academic researcher based in Norway. For many years, I have been doing research, publishing papers, giving talks and doing what I can to help, addressing most of the big “megachallenges” above. You can find many of my papers (and some citations to papers in press), and important papers of others, simply by clicking on the section or subsection you are interested in today. Previously Ross worked in senior positions in London, Tokyo and Sydney, most recently at Thomson Financial as Global Director – Capital Markets as well as for Merrill Lynch and NCR. He has worked at senior levels in many countries and cultures, and speaks five languages.
Raiany is currently working on a non-fiction book aimed at shifting the ethics, policy and public narrative of longevity research. She is particularly interested in the human proclivity towards death-embracing narratives, and its harmful effects on economies and societies.
